10/10

It was funny, but it is not something you would listen to to put you to sleep. More of a road trip, daytime kind of book. It was good! I liked it. Bella, 10yo. Time for #2.

Very funny, a little bit yuck

My 6 year old son finds all three of The World's Worst Children very funny. He cackles with happiness at the absurd naughtiness of the children in the books.

However, as an adult, I have a very strong stomach. I can talk about corpses and autopsies over pudding but these books have actually made me dry retch - I can't be more specific, as each three have become just one long horror show of terrible parenting and terrible children, some with very physical habits, such as eating large balls of earwax. I would put some of the stories on a par with the film Dead Alive/Braindead by Peter Jackson for the pure and immediate revulsion factor.

On the plus side, there has been no discernible 'naughtifying' effect on my son either. He's still pretty darn good and doesn't eat his own earwax.

That made me laugh really hard and i love how David Walliams is so imaginative and creative because everyone knows a little kid wouldn’t go to work for 10 yrs

The less liked of David Walliams books, so far.

It's nicely narrated as the other stories that we have listened to from the same author. Nevertheless we didn't finish listening to it because we didn't find the short stories interesting. They didn't capture our imagination (mine and my 11 year old boy). We didn't find it funny either (and we had laughed or giggled with some other of his books).

wackiest worst children stories are wonderful !

Raj and his introduction makes the best start to the book! I was smiling from the very beginning and the laughter continued throughout till the very end of the book. The narration and sound effects were brilliant as ever. Highly recommend this audio book. I love the way the author always has a moral to the story even if it is tongue in cheek.

Kids laughing out loud!

Bought this as something for my son (just 7) and daughter (just 5) to listen to on the plane/by the beach. Although I haven't listened to it personally, the children LOVED it. My son was asking to listen to this rather than go in the pool or on the beach! They both laughed out loud. If they're happy, I'm happy.

Great story!

My 8yo adored it. He insisted we review it and put 5 stars. He loves the concept that every chapter is about a different child.

One of the best stories I've ever heard

The naughty children made me laugh. It's also very rude! There is also more than one scary bit. I would listen to it again. Benjamin. Age 6.
