About this listen
Drew Marshall is the epitome of a walking nightmare.
Deranged. Psychotic. Immoral.
After breaking my heart and publicly humiliating me, I vow to forget his existence.
He has other plans, though, and vows to make certain I don’t.
The only one I can turn to for help is a man I thought to be my enemy.
Drew’s best friend Sebastian who claims to be my brother.
He promises me security and protection. But no one can protect me from Drew.
The faster I run, the more he chases.
The harder I struggle, the tighter his grip becomes.
My enemy. My stalker. My villain.
It’s wrong, but I can’t stop myself from craving his rough touch, filthy words, and the dark promise of pleasure he gives me. They say the truth will set you free, but ours didn't do that. It locked us inside the cage and tossed away the key.
Note: This is book two in the Oakmount Elite series and is not a standalone. This must be listened to after The Wallflower. Please be sure to check the author's note at the start of the book for trigger warnings: this book contains dark subject matter, sexual situations, and questionable morals.

The Wildflower continues Bel and Drew’s story and I truly did not know where parts of this plot were going. Some twists were predictable, others genuinely surprised me.
The duet narration from Rene Thorn and Ryan Stone is once again fantastic. Their chemistry keeps the tension and obsession between Bel and Drew feeling intense and immersive.
That said, my biggest frustration was the heavy reliance on miscommunication. One honest conversation could have solved so much of the conflict. It is a trope I struggle with and it shows up a lot here.
I also preferred Bel in the first book where she had more bite and fight. Here she felt more passive and I kept hoping she would surprise everyone with a clever plan or a little revenge of her own.
Even with those frustrations the audiobook is still addictive. The secrets, manipulation, romance, and spice keep the story moving and the performances make it easy to stay hooked.
And by the end I was more than ready to jump straight into Sebastian’s story. 🎧🔥📚

After finishing The Wallflower I immediately dove straight into this book and after everything bel and drew had gone through, individually and together i am so glad they’d gotten their HEA.
I just loved drew so much, i love me a broken boy so much and honestly bel is a stronger woman then me.
I’m so intrigued with Sebastian and I’m excited to jump into his duet soon!!
a beautiful ending for bel an drew
