About this listen
The Western Mail Order Bride: Jed, Maggie from London, and the Rabbi is a story about two damaged people finding love, thanks to the assistance of one rabbi. Jed went to prison for a while after he killed the man who had killed his beautiful wife. He and the rabbi are the only two people in town who are Jewish and they become friends.
The rabbi encourages lonely and crotchety Jed to advertise for a mail order bride and without warning, because of a mistake, one shows up on his doorstep. The trouble is, she has had a checkered past just like he has. Their one commonality is their love for God and their desire for redemption and forgiveness.
