Excellent Overview
This book gives an excellent summary overview of the Wealth of Nations. It is performed well and is a very useful introduction to the work of Adam Smith.

Frustrating
Good content. More context than actual content in my opinion but not bad. THE VOICES ARE AWFUL!!! It goes way past comical stupidity and is really frustrating/makes you cringe. It's unb

Great summary of Smiths work.
Smith was brilliant but 18th century writing is hard to follow. This edition explains his ideas in a way the modern reader can comprehend. I liked the contributions of the other narrators.

Well thought and evenly articulated
The interpretation of Adam smith was very fair and was articulated in a logical fashion. I very much enjoyed this audio book.

Covered key ideas in a short timeframe well
I needed to learn “essential ideas and views of Adam Smith” for an economics paper I’m working on for class. This was exactly what I needed (right balance of depth and time investment).
The additional voices (actors) are terrible and a distraction but you just have to overlook that.

essential reading
there is no doubt that this was a work of wonder. the wealth of nations is a capstone of modern day macro economic theory. it appears antiquated now, but it was revolutionary. I strongly recommend this

Interesting
I come away with a deeper understanding of The Wealth of Nations, even more than if I had read it. This book illuminates the context that Adam Smith wrote his masterpiece in.
The most memorable section would be the discussion of his class lectures in Edinburgh.

Truly Offensive
What disappointed you about The Wealth of Nations?
A seminal work being read by Bugs Bunny. Impossible to concentrate. Main narrator is acceptable but the 4 "actors" who read in Scottish, French and English accents are unlistenable. Offensive and a waste of my tutorial dollars.
