Publisher's Summary

Best-selling author, pastor, futurist, and cultural thought leader Erwin Raphael McManus believes that to experience and establish peace, we must first confront the battles that rage within.

McManus shows that encountering peace does not occur by accident, but rather by artful intention. The Way of the Warrior is a call to decisiveness, self-examination, and the pursuit of spiritual wholeness. Through the ancient biblical practices of humility, focus, ownership, clarity, strength, and vulnerability, he guides listeners to a deeper understanding of their inner workings and provides the guidance they need to establish peace and tranquility in their homes, neighborhoods, communities, and even the world!

In the style of a battle-wizened teacher, McManus delivers wisdom, instills passion, and provides the sacred movements needed to become the warrior you were meant to be.

Spiritual Learning, Self-Development & Faith

As someone who falls more into the category of searching for faith rather than a firm believer, I find Erwin's message presents a way to understand the lessons and teachings of Jesus in the modern world. Each chapter is structured with different components of what it takes and means to find peace as well as how and why to fight for it for yourself and others. The ideas are original, inspiring and challenging.

Erwin's philosophy reaches me in a way that helps to both grow my faith and improve me as a person. I wish I could share this book with everyone.

Wow! Amazing!

This is one of those books that is life changing. Its like he took a picture of my most secret place in my soul ,and expressed it in words an language. How valuable is the expression (he gets me sees me feels me) since I was a child I felt like a alien ,I always saw and felt that there was another language being spoken and that people’s worth’s were not representing that reality ,people’s noise was over whelming to me.he taught me to flip what I thought to be curse into a gift of honor ; permission to express the hidden and to fully embrace it with love so all the world can see express the unique value of authentic creativity , that makes you special and me ,coming together with all our bumps and bruises and making a living mosaic that’s alive and keeps changing many dimensional the word who becomes flesh and creates love between us !

A Lesson in Redundacy..

If you read the first chapter, you've read it all in this dull repetative narrative. Save your money.

Pretty good overall

I liked Last Arrow better. Kind of got “out there” with his watches malfunctioning due to his electrical field. Liked his exploration in human limits and capacity with divine power-
