excellent book explains our roots as humans, how that pertains to manliness, what true manliness is, what threatens that manliness in today's world and emphasizing the importance of keeping and growing that manliness in a modern world

I really enjoyed the historical and cultural analysis of human beings and other animals. It opened my eyes to a lot of important things that we as men collectively lack today. Gotta start practicing these ideas.

what I agreed with I felt was logical and rational. but what I disagreed I disagreed with strongly. overall a good read and worth your time. leaves you thinking which is a sign of good literature in my opinion. I don't recommend his other books as those are repugnant at best. 50/50 on this book
