About this listen

The way of family has all but been lost to this generation, and there are several contributing factors that need to be carefully considered. The primary reason for the decline of family in this country is the absence of both fathers and mothers and any real sense of cohesion or continuity with one another.

I believe that it would be safe to conclude that a large percentage of young married couples are working two or more jobs in order to make ends meet and provide the life they want for their families. Unfortunately, the pursuit of a career path has forced them to abdicate the responsibility of rearing their children to babysitters, day-care workers, teachers, and other mentors, most of whom are strangers who may or may not share the same core values. They may be decent, moral people who truly care for children in general, but they are far from friends and family who have our back and fully understand what our children need the most.

There are a lot of contributing factors to the divorce rate in this country, but it may surprise us to discover that infidelity is not on top of the list. "Incompatibility" is the basic reason that couples are divorcing in North America, and that translates into a growing percentage of families being torn apart and struggling to find their way in life.
