Publisher's Summary

Based on his landmark research and teachings, Dr. John Demartini has discovered the key to fulfillment in all aspects of life. What is the most important step you can take to achieve the life you've always dreamed of? You might think the answer is something like start saving money, get a better job, find my soul mate, or improve my marriage. Solutions like these might offer temporary satisfaction, but none of them can provide true, lasting fulfillment or help you achieve your unique purpose in life.

The Values Factor shows you how to create a life in which every minute can be inspiring and fulfilling. The first step is to identify what you find most meaningful - the values in life that are most important to you. Once you understand your own unique values and align your life accordingly, you can achieve fulfillment in every aspect of your life: deepening your loving relationships, creating an inspiring career, establishing financial freedom, and tapping into a rich spiritual life.

Dr. Demartini's provocative 13-part questionnaire will reveal to you what you value most. The answers may surprise you! Then, each chapter of this audiobook explains how to align every aspect of your life with your true values, so that you can finally achieve the success that you were capable of all along.

A true game changer

This audio book was fantastic & it's exactly as if your attending one of dr John Demartinis events, which I have. It gives detailed instructions on how to analyse why you do what you do & transform anything you have been unhappy with
Since reading this book I decided it was time to transition off serious rheumatoid arthritis meds because I cleared some massive blocks & imbalances. 2 months drug free 2 months pain free. So Much Gratitude for this book & the years of research John does so we can all live our best life

Great Book - Woeful Narration

I have always been a fan of Dr Demartini's groundbreaking work. But I just can't listen to this book. The narrator is terrible. 0/10 for that performance. Give me a microphone! I know the work, I have a pretty ordinary speaking voice, but I swear I could do it more justice if through nothing other than sheer enthusiasm for the subject matter. The narrater very obviously has never attended one of Dr Demartini's courses and it comes through in every word.

Only half the book is interesting

I liked the first half of the book only, the other half was just a repeat of the first half. The narrator was the most boring...it seemed he was bored reading, very flat voice. I wouldn't recommend this book. Plus when he started mentioning Trump I lost faith and finally gave up.

Makes you really think about your values

The book makes you think about your true values. It made me think about life goals in a different matter. It helped me identifying where frustrations in my life are coming from and how to move forward.
However, the author uses lots of "to-do" and "complete this exercise" trying to help the reader identify those values. I don't think it is applicable to apply such exercises and equations into values.
Overall, the book is good with few points I disagree with. Definitely would recommend to anyone who is trying to better shape their life.

Not for me

Struggled. Disliked narrator. Felt like I was being sold too hard on a narrow concept despite being drawn to fhe topic. Wouldn't recommend.

Loved this timeless message!

Dr. DeMartini never fails to deliver life changing realizations, spreading awareness of what we already know, just aren’t aware that every day we fulfill what’s highest on our values. Must read

The Values Factor review

Loved hearing about the connectedness of mind, body, illness, behaviour etc. Also loved the process to unpack one's values, as it makes so much sense. Didn't enjoy the narrators voice.

Insightful Read - lots to learn!

Would you listen to The Values Factor again? Why?

Yes - there are so many things that you pick up on that it would be useful to listen to it fairly regularly to keep you on track with the context.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Values Factor?

I like how it is clear Dr Demartini travels around so much and has so many commitments to fulfil but because of his values he applies he seems to do these seamlessly. It makes you realise that you can really achieve so much more every day if you apply your thoughts correctly.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

The business chapter on how to lead and inspire your work force. I want to achieve greatness in business so I want to be perceived well but to achieve well at the same time.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Be a better you...

Any additional comments?

Really enjoyable and in some areas, very simplistic but so effective

Like, WOW!

Utterly revelatory.

I've read lots of these sorts of books. This doesn't pump you up and give you plans and constructs. This just tells you how relationship and behaviour work. Quite brilliant.

Great book with plenty of action steps

This book was great, it explained and clearly broke down the steps needed to understand your highest values and how to overcome ‘problems’. Whilst there are plenty of action steps and points to do through this book the only thing I would say to anyone reading this is, if you are an action taker and implement any of the suggestions of this book you will need a note pad and be ready to go back and keep referring. In an ideal world there would be some downloads somewhere almost like worksheets that could be applied.

Inspiring book but the voice reading lets it down but that is just my personal opinion. I still got a lot out if it.

one of the most impactful books

I don't write many reviews but I thought this may help someone make the purchasing decision. I found Dr Martini a couple of months ago and have consumed most of his available content online. I have read/listened to over 200 books on self development related topics over the last few years and this ranks as a top 10.

Extraordinary, life changing material. Read it now.

This book carefully explains how our lives are derailed due to an absence of clarity of our highest values. These values govern our behaviour (whether we realise this is happening or not) and if we aren’t clear on what they are, we can feel a range of negative emotions including sadness, anger, loneliness and so on. Worse, we may attribute such feelings to the significant other in our life - ie. blame them! This amazingly helpful book helps you understand the importance of determining your highest values, how to do this and how to best apply this knowledge to your life so that your relationships, job, career are working for you to near maximum effect. You will be happier, feel more engaged in life and less likely to slip into the trance like state affecting so many people today whereby we just “get through” life and expect disappointment, sadness and being let down. This knowledge should be available to everyone at an early age. The world would surely be in far better shape with happier more content citizens. Thank you Dr DeMartini for this important book.
