I had high hopes for this book, expecting a solid foundation of scientific insights, but it fell short. While there were a few useful snippets of information, they were buried under pages of drawn out, unnecessary explanations that didn’t add much value. The writing felt more like filler than substance, making it a frustrating read. If you’re looking for a book with real depth and scientific backing, this one might not be it. Disappointing overall.

If you are trying to heal from truama then it is the kind of story telling and meandering lessons that will likely be helpful for many people. The content was good when it was delivered but the useful points could have been a 30-45 minute action plan.
