About this listen
Boss is back.
Having lost both a hand and his entire team when Jim Powell and his friends attacked the power plant, Boss is obsessed with revenge. He had no idea who the men were, but he’s determined to launch a search for them until his command makes it clear that his mission of vengeance is not a priority.
Undeterred, Boss arrives at a covert method of engaging the entire population of southwest Virginia in his hunt for the insurgents. He has fliers scattered in the communities around the power plant offering a reward of food and ammunition for the live capture of the lone man whose image was caught by a security camera.
The rampant rumors surrounding the attack at the plant work against Jim. His name is whispered everywhere that people gather. Almost overnight, he and his friends find themselves under attack from desperate neighbors determined to collect the reward.

SPOILERS:
The plot is getting a touch hard to maintain and has some holes in it. The idea that there are two factions running the world one trying to globalise everything and the patriots who love their country is the stuff of right-wing conspiracy nuts. I knew the author was anti-government, but that kind of matched the main character. Going on about how socialism always leads to tyranny and oppression isn’t actually true and really felt out of place in the last two books. The government isn’t trying to take your hillbilly guns away. And socialism, you should know, is the backbone of national defence (unless you can buy an F35 or a DDG for yourself you need public funding). Roads are another good example or a socialist idea. So even the conservatives have socialist leanings. Unfortunately, rednecks believe that giving to others less fortunate is going to break the country (that’s also called charity, by another name). It’s not. There are plenty of nations with great liveability and everything else that marks a great country.
I’m done with this author.
Great Series but Getting a Little Political
