As the title explains, this is very typical of Bentley Little's works (which i happen to enjoy). Oddball crazy story, well written but does waffle on sometimes (but not as bad as Stephen King).

Narrator has a droney voice, which appears in almost all Little's books, so I'm used to it by now. But he does tend to put me to sleep. Gotta pull over for a nap after driving with it on after am hour or so.
