I loved this book so much that finishing it is making me grieve for the people I’ve just met.
The murder mystery is intriguing, but the interplay of characters and the layering of moral dilemmas was perfect.
The narrator was absolutely perfect!

I absolutely love this book. All the characters are brilliant especially the four main characters who are the members of the Thursday Murder Club in a returement village.It is a clever crime novel that is well written and quite funny. A must read/listen.

It’s a murder mystery that is not only investigated by the police but also by four men and women in their 70s as part of their Thursday Murder Club (hence the title)! They each have a skill set that brings the foursome together in such a brilliant way. They also bring some light hearted humour in to very serious situations that just makes you want more.

There is murder, love, friendship, and intrigue (what is a murder mystery without intrigue, right?!), but there is also so much depth to each character that makes you instantly bond with them and want to know more about them.

Beautifully written and what a delightful debut novel! Well done and congratulations to Richard Osman. I pre-ordered your next book immediately after finishing this one. Can’t wait!
