Spend your money elsewhere!!!!

The most disappointing audio book I've ever bought. Recycled garbage, NOTHING original to add here at all. Talks initially about the SWITCH to flick that is the missing component of THE SECRET yet never reveals how to "flick the switch". Constantly talking about buying his other books and downloads.....why advertise other products when this one is so bad. Sounded so promising but certainly fails to deliver- MOST disappointing indeed!

If you read (listen to) this book, then you've read all his other books.

I've listened to excerpts from all of his other books and they are exactly the same book with a different title. Don't waste your money on the others.

There is a lot of good information in this book and after reading "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrnes, Craig actually cleared up a few things for me. I listen to this audiobook once a week while I am driving around the Midwest on my job.

You must follow his directions or it simply will not work. Let go of your ego and just do it!

Craig Beck great storyteller!

If you could sum up The Switch: The Secret Law of Subconscious Attraction in three words, what would they be?

Loved that by the end of the first run through my subconscious had already picked up three major shifts and I could tell some of the old beliefs/commitments to non-helpful things had released.

What did you like best about this story?

Craig is very generous in his vulnerability, e.g., telling stories about himself. He does self-deprecation with dignity allowing the reader to identify with his human challenges while applying the practices in our own lives.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Bodies, Spirits and Spaces in Between

Any additional comments?

Keep it up Craig. Deep service you're providing for us all!

Life changing

I have read a lot about the law of attraction but this is different. I like the depth he goes into and the unique way he has to explain why life works the way it does. If you can open your mind wide enough this book is a life changer

Blæ

The worst spiritual book ever, he doesn't teach you anything because i am sure he doesn't know it himself. it's a difference between talking the talk and the KNOWING within the subconscious mind. He even does a bad job of copying materiel from the authors like Rhonda Byrne and Esther Hicks.

Unleashed my soul

This book was recommended to me during a very difficult time in my life. I'm so glad this fell into my hands when it did...it really is life changing as a lot of you have said. It's a great reminder of how beautiful life can be, and what a wonderful gift it really is.

The subconscious likened to the soul.

Yes. as comparable as the others I have read. Usable information capable of truly changing lives.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me laugh and cry. I have listened to it twice, as well as every other book of his that I have listened to.

Powerful message!

Everything is as is as it should be,is everything not perfect as it is? It is so true. The present we so often waste allowing the ego to drag us elsewhere. I’m going accept the challenge to live The 8 principals for the next 21 days one present moment at a time with gratitude, love and acceptance and acknowledgement I’m Not perfect telling my divine self I’m sorry, please forgive me, Thank You and I LOVE You. Thank you Mr Beck!

There is no TRY, only DO or DO NOT.

I realize many people have stated that this is a recycled and rearranged copy of other books by Mr Beck. However I haven't seen many naysayers who have said "Tried it. Hated it." I have 'heard' the message contained in this publication in many different forms throughout my life, In church, in AA, in (not kidding) AMWAY! Hare Krishna, If you can imagine it, you can achieve it. Power of positive thinking. Hell, I even have been signing my letters for DECADES with the statement that "We are ALL responsible" ! But, until I encountered these recordings I was unable to internalize the message. The central message that I finally GET? Everything, in this moment, is perfect. It is as I expect it to be. It may not be my fault... I have beaten myself with that stick for years. And here, again, I thought I KNEW this, but I missed it by a fraction... I used to say, of myself and others, So you had a tough childhood, that happened. NOW what are you gonna do? I SAID THAT! but never internalized it. TILL NOW. It really is true that when the student is ready, the teacher will appear.

WOW! This works!

I've read a number of 'change your thought change your life' style books as well as The Secret etc but this book resonated with me on a level I've not experienced before. Craig's easy manner and down to earth approach makes this a joy to listen to. I listened to this whilst going for a long walk and I literally FELT the switch. That was four days ago and I can still feel the change. I think, as Craig says, when the student is ready the teacher appears. This is so true! I am ready to change and take full responsibility for everything. If you find yourself getting annoyed whilst driving or someone cuts you up, see it as a sign from the Universe, showing you where your thoughts need to change. If someone is rude or angry and you bear the brunt, they're probably in need of more love than you. Give them that love, send positivity, again this may well be a sign from the Universe that it has your back and you must never feel disconnected again. We really are all ONE.

Well for my very first self help book I've certainly blown the socks of myself! I honestly an awe struck! Even before I had finished and wasn't 'thinking' about putting what I was learning into affect things started changing. Which proves the entire theory behind the book.

I will NEVER be able to thank Craig Beck for what he has done for me! THANK YOU xxx

The Switch

This book ends better than it starts and is actually good enough to buy. There’s a weird bit at the start where the author is going on about preferring to photograph ‘good looking people and mentions ‘beautiful brides’ said it’s beautiful people who are more interested in their appearance and mentions him only accepting select few clients. I thought it sad because surely people in love want to record the day? I have older friends who have married and can’t be called ‘breathtaking’ but I thought the photos were beautiful so loved filled. So to me the author kind of misses the point; he seemed very materialistic; almost like he commodities people making their worth (especially females as he mentioned nothing of the groom) linked to their looks and figure. I was ready to quit at that point as I’m very much Interested in female well being and this to me is outmoded patriarchal conditioning. Anyway, as I was in the bath and couldn’t switch off and return the purchase I persevered and enjoyed the rest very nicely. I’ve read Joe Vitalies’ books referred to and much more besides, so none of it was new to me and yet I genuinely enjoyed it nonetheless. So, if you have a different view to me on the bride thing, or simply don’t mind it, then I think you will enjoy this audible book and perhaps re listen to it. Hope this review helps :)

Not a book about dating (also contains religion)

I expected a book on improving relationships, but it’s actually about life philosophy and attracting happiness. I didn’t stop reading though, because the perspectives, ideas and stories are so fascinating. Not to mention, this is THE best, most enthusiastic reader I’ve had so far. But be warned, although it’s not the foundation, there are constant references and sections on god, divine being and the universe. For example: For his thirsty guests, a man brought a selection of cups, cheap to expensive. Once everyone was drinking, only the cheapest and ugliest cups remained, despite that changing nothing of the drink’s quality, which is what everyone actually wanted. And still, people were eyeing up everyone else’s cup to see who had better. “Sometimes, by focusing on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee that god has provided us with” It’s worth the read, but it could deliver exactly the same message without any references to god.

Oh well

I was really focused and excited to listen to this.. but quickly I realised it contained too many ideas that involves killing the ego and become a perfect person who can infect accept anything and that we are responsible for having a sick baby for example. I really struggled to finish this book. I'm not Buddha or have any desire to not want any thing in my life. How am I meant to think I caused or am responsible for my fathers cancer and death for example? When in the end this book said go back and listen again, I thought thank god it's over..
