great read/listen. Some parts I couldn’t stop listening. A few unexpected scenes kept me hooked. Excited for the next instalment.

After the ending of the first book and considering the author's past work, I expected this book to be a bit meandering and complicated. Turns out this was not the case, and I looked forward for each different "PoV" to arrive.

The book was heartbreaking at times though, expect to not be happy with all the twists and turns (on a personal level, for the story it worked great)

I especially like that considering how overpowered the main character was in the first book, the stakes and handicaps to him made so that it didn't feel like he could easily solve the trials he was faced with.

This book was so epic. The world expansion after the first book was amazing.. They emotions I felt when I was reading/listening were gut wrenching.

This book has immediately been bumped up to one of my favourite books I've ever read.

At first I thought it would be difficult to follow the three seperate Vis worlds. However, each story line compliments the others both explaining why event events happen and expanding on the story itself.

The pace is excellent and the mysteries continue to captivate me.

If you enjoyed the first book you will love this one.
