About this listen

From the best-selling author of The Sunday Girl.

When Charlie sees a man who is the spitting image of her husband, Oliver, on a dating app, her heart stops.

Her first desperate instinct is to tell herself she must be mistaken - she caught only a glimpse from a distance as her friends were laughingly swiping through the men on offer. But she knows it’s no mistake. She took that photo. On their honeymoon. She just can’t let it go.

Suddenly other signs of betrayal begin to add up, and so Charlie does the only thing she can think of to defend her position - she signs up to the app to catch Oliver in the act. But Charlie soon discovers that infidelity is the least of her problems. Nothing is as it seems, and nobody is who she thinks they are.

I found this book very disappointing, plot predictable, writing average, the overuse of boom boom , boom boom , boom boom, is annoying. Wouldn't recommend.

Predictable

An interesting listen, but disjointed in parts and with a not-so-strong storyline. Was good, but not great.

Good, but not great.

The story set up took a long time to establish. Once established, it moves with pace with a strong ending.

Long time to establish characters

Took a while for me to get into it but was addicted at the end. Great and can’t wait to watch it on Netflix

Great listen

Incredibly addictive, I finished this audiobook so quickly. So many twists and turns and brilliantly read and performed. Loved it.

Couldn’t stop listening!

This book wasn’t as good as her first - the story was good with a great twist at the end with a really good narrator however I kept flipping forward most of the way through as there was just too much detail in everything she did - a second by second detail of the entire day and took too many chapters in to actually start the story- disappointing but will try her next book

Great narration. I couldn’t switch off. Felt I was right there with her the whole time.

definitely makes you think

A frustrating book. Started well but then it goes down hill quick as the narrators tone insinuates the main character is a bimbo. The storyline is also so far fetched

The narrator makes the character sounds dumb

Well what a load of rubbish this book is. So poorly written. Over written. Silly lead character I wanted to thump her. If she said thump thump thump again I could have killed her. Not sure why I listened to it all. Some of these authors really should read well written books. Perhaps they might learn something

Goodness me
