The narrarator read with an energy and a pace that was both satisfying and inviting. The music did a wonderful job of punctuating the narration.

Great story, good narration, low quality audio
This recording was first released by Argo in 1979. Unfortunately this Audible digital release seems to have been sourced from a poor quality mono recording (as if they used a cheap cassette player to make an even lower quality mp3). I have a copy on record in stereo and the sound quality is far superior to this version.
It's reasonable value for money if you don't already have a copy. But it's a poor transfer.
