Publisher's Summary

A story about a boy who dreamed of rock and roll.

A story about a girl who dreamed about a boy.

An epic, all-consuming love story about betrayal, loss and learning, that spans over 20 years.

This is the story of us: "I was just 11 years old, but I knew without a shadow of a doubt I was staring into the eyes of the boy I was going to love forever."

I love him and no matter how many lies are told, no matter how many people conspire to keep us apart, despite the fame and the distance, it will only ever be him.

An edgy coming-of-age love story that breaks all the rules and transcends the decades.

Georgia and Sean's story will stay with you long after you hear the final word.

An emotional, smoking-hot, gut-wrenching read.

This audiobook is for adults with an open mind. Sex, drugs, some rock 'n roll, angst, and heartbreak. Tissues may be required. May contain triggers.

My favorite book

I’ve read Carnage at-least twice and wasn’t sure I needed to hear it. But, I loved it! Carnage is my favorite book and the audio was next to as good as the actual book. I really do like these characters and look forward to book 2 on audible.

Everything...and more

I read this a couple years ago and have dreamed of them on audio. Hearing these words spoke out loud gave me every emotion. I’m typically not an emotional reader but this story doesn’t allow you not to be. It is so special, heart breakingly beautiful. The narrator truly brought this book to life and was nice to hear the correct pronunciation of the words as well. Life isn’t always perfect but the realness of this story is what truly can speak to you. I just can’t say enough. I truly hope every single one of Lesley’s books will be on audio soon. Thank you for these words 💕

Amazing better than the book

I am a huge fan of the Carnage series and the audio version was incredible. Nikki did an amazing job bringing Georgia to life.

Ugly cry

If you don't like to cry for hours, this book is not for you.
This is such and emotional book. I love it so much. I just need the second and third books on audible.

Heartbreakingly good!

I thought I’d been Carnaged after reading this book....I was wrong! Hearing it in audio is so much more emotional and cemented that deep connection to each character even more.
I adore each and every aspect of this storyline and it is one that will stay with me forever.

4.5 Didn't See That Coming Stars!

Well this was a lovely story, albeit heart-wrenching.

Meet Georgia-Rae she is 11 years old.......She meets Sean, who is 13, and they both decide that they have met the loves of their lives and will never love anyone else again ....EVER!

Sean and Georgia become a "thing" and stay, and are very happy together, Sean is in a band called Carnage and is gigging around pubs and clubs and becoming quite a big name around the place, until they get spotted by a talent scout and they hit the big time!

the thing is, by this time Georgia is only 16 years old and is still at school, so she can't follow him around the world, so she follows Carnage from afar and meets up with him when she can.

Sean in the mean time has got himself caught up in the rock-star lifestyle with drugs and alcohol and is getting himself into a bit of a mess.
this becomes evident one day after a huge sill mistake on Sean's part splits the 2 lovers apart and doesn't reconcile them until 4-5 years later.

In the meantime Georgia has met and started to have feelings again, and maybe has some real feelings for Cameron King, a big-time London crook, who knows of her family through her father.

Of course the story wouldn't be complete without Georgia and Sean, but do they find their way back to each other?? Does Cameron stay in the picture??
will your little heart be torn out and stamped on??? Probably!!

🎧🎧 Great narration by Nikki Delgado, i went into this book completely blind so i had no idea that it was even set in the UK, She has a lovely accent and doesn't sound like the usual posh Mary Poppins British narrators that i have become accustomed to.
