Editorial reviews
An elegiac portrait of Gunlock, a decaying town in the Old West, once a tough boomtown now a dangerous haven for outlaws. If anyone is going to clean up the town it's Dave Lowry, who's still looking to settle the score with the man who killed his father. James Drury performs this yarn with a slight southern drawl and some trail dust in his throat lending this yarn the air of a genuine cowboy tale. This audiobook is a fun, quick listen for any fan of tales of the old West.
Publisher's Summary
Dave Lowery lived in Gunlock, a dying Western trail town, now an outlaw's haven. Sheriff Arno Slade, the power in town in cahoots with the judge, is suspected of killing Lowery's father. Only through a settling of scores will the town be able to change and be reborn. Does Dave Lowery have the courage to act?
