God awful narration

The narrator kept giving Emily such horrible accents. At first I thought that Emily was supposed to be Italian, then some other weird accent. I had to stop listening before the first chapter was over.

This narrator just didnt cut it for me. I had to keep replaying each line in my head, to clear the voice. Sorry, just not what i like.

Review of narration only

PAINFUL is the word to describe this performance. From book #1 I always thought Emily was English. Here in book #2 they are in the castle of the Earl of Connough in Scotland. The characters all speak with a ?Scot's? accent, which actually sounds Irish sometimes, more often a Jamaican accent. The actor needs to learn to develop the characters and not monotone the dialogue. This is a great series-review of book on Amazon site.

worst narration EVER

Would you try another book from Kelly McClymer and/or Jaicie Kirkpatrick?

Could not get past first sentence.

What was most disappointing about Kelly McClymer’s story?

This narrator is almost a cliche she is so bad.

Would you be willing to try another one of Jaicie Kirkpatrick’s performances?

No.

Good book, awful Narration

Good book, well conceived. I listened to it all even tho at times the sing song silly narrative got on my nerves. I can't guess at what sort of accent the rising and falling sing song tones were supposed to represent.

There was no heat factor.... a bad narrative and I can't say if it's creditworthy since it's the narration that decides it in this case. Listen to the preview, perhaps several of this narrator in this genre, and decide then.

I have to say that I did actually stumble thru it rather than return it.
