Publisher's Summary

If you're ready to retrain your brain to overcome the barriers that stand between you and happiness, then you should listen to this book!

Do you absolutely despise social events because of the inevitable small talk you know you would have to endure, coming up with just about any excuse under the moon as to why you can't go so you can stay home - alone?

Are you prone to panic attacks in times of stress, whether it be emotional, mental, or physical, and wish to be free of this burden that just won't seem to go away on its own?

Are you tired of feeling like you live under a rock, hermiting away from society, wanting so desperately to feel normal and to be a part of life events without fear or anxiety shadowing every move?

Don’t worry, you’re not weird for feeling uncomfortable at social gatherings or in places where there are many people, nor are you alone.

Anyone can experience anxiety - children, teens, women, and men alike - making these types of disorders the most common mental illness. The issue, however, lies in the fact that many take medication as their form of treatment.

Now's the time to rip off the Zoloft bandaid and apply a new strategy - one that involves changing your mindset through thoughts, not substances.

This incredible box set includes:

  1. The Social Anxiety Disorder Solution
  2. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

The methods provided won't act as quick fixes, but they will prove to be much more effective in the long run than any drug ever will. Say good-bye to that hazy, confused feeling - you will finally be able to feel like you can function as an actual human being again.

If you want to discover how you can rid yourself of anxiety once and for all and finally live the cheerful, positive life you deserve, then scroll up and click the "Add to Cart" button right now.

Thank You!

I downloaded this book to assist my teen with SAD. I soon learned that my own mind could use CBT help. I am learning so much about my own triggers, my irrational thoughts and being stuck in mid life. As I correct my brain I can better see ways to help my teen.

Amazing!!!!!!!

This audiobook is so helpful and educational in so many ways! From listening this book I have learned that CBT also known as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy was originally created for treating depression, also that it is a form of psychotherapy used to treat numerous mental conditions. This audiobook has taught me that the different conditions effectively treatable using CBT include; depression, anxiety, chronic stress , personality disorders, intrusive thoughts, addiction issues, eating disorders, lack of self-esteem, and mood instability i was never aware of this until i purchased this audiobook. I give you my word that if you purchase this book you will be more successful in life. Thank you and god bless.

A fascinating and detailed listen

I've always been fascinated by CBT, especially as someone that deals with anxious tendencies and whatnot. This audiobook blew me away with information. I've had conversations with various mental health professionals over the years about cognitive behavioral therapy and while I had a vague understanding of it, this audiobook showed me how little a truly knew.

A Great Tool For Anyone

This audiobook is an excellent resource for anyone interested in improving his or her life by employing the tools of cognitive behavioral therapy. It contains detailed chapters that illuminate a seven step therapeutic process that one can utilize to help ease negative emotions and anxiety. Furthermore, it is written in a very clear, understandable way that should enable laymen as well as experts in the field to follow and use the information presented in it very effectively. Finally, in addition to providing valuable information it offers a truncated, interesting history of cognitive behavioral therapy. Therefore, if you're looking to enhance your life you should buy this audiobook, it can only make you feel better.

I am impressed

This audiobook is wonderful. A thorough, comprehensive, conversational, easy to understand, and above all, HELPFUL audiobook. It takes the listener through a basic understanding of CBT , using 7 steps (which are each broken down with helpful examples) which can practised in the back Activity section of the book. It is a great, non-judgemental guide to bettering one's life by changing thought patterns and beliefs for the better. It even manages to merge wisdom from different religious and spiritual paths, with the end goal of better self enlightenment. I highly recommend and know I will pass this onto others.

An easy to understand guide and workbook

This simple, straightforward quote put the rest of the audiobook in perspective. The audiobook is broken down into seven main sections and each section has multiple subsections which allow you to absorb the information in bite-size pieces. To be quite honest, I wish more book on topics like this were structured the same way.I especially appreciated the Additional listening section which includes references to other audiobook on the subject and Appendix A that contains the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Workbook.

Mental Positive

I really enjoyed this audiobook! It is incredibly easy to follow and the techniques are natural and progressive. I love that this approach affirms our own ability to heal our own mind while drawing on our own strength ("Physician, Heal Thyself") but also encourages openness in reaching out for professional help.Within the audiobook there is respect for natural healing and technique, professional input and also religious principles, so anyone can find something helpful in this writing. The authors has quite obviously put tremendous effort into understanding and explaining mental health and challenges in a way that engages and encourages the listener.

Easy to listen; great tools to use!

Listening this audiobook, not only provided easy to understand terminology, it also gave me some great advice on steps to take and tools to use. It aimed to help build a set of skills that anyone(without additional monetary resources) could employ in their every day lives to help combat the impact of anxiety and depression on one’s every day living.

Informative

The audiobook is very informative. It explains how to conduct CBT by yourself, and when to ask for help if needed on your CBT journey. I like that it gives you a workbook to help you get started and gather your thoughts. Throughout the readings, it gives you examples of thoughts that you can use and questions to ask yourself when analyzing those thoughts and emotions. It helps you personalize the experience for yourself.

A must read

So far the book has been insightful and contains useful information. The fact the book is based on the authors personal experiences gives it a sense of relatability, unlike other books that have been written by someone who has researched the topic but never been in the situation themselves. A must read for anyone who is struggling with an "SAD", or knows someone who does.

Well written, for professionals and individuals

This audiobook offered a great deal of information on CBT, introduced what it is and how to effectively implement it. I particularly like the workbook section in the back that can be used to help guide oneself through the process and journey to emotional freedom.

Wow what a book

This audiobook is absolutely a must listen. The techniques are very simple and easy to use but at the same time powerful as hell :-) Normally with this kind of books i am bored very fast and i will quit listening after a few sites, but Lawrence Wallace kept it very simple and understandable so that you just keep listening till you finished the audiobook. So great job !

Great book

I really like this audiobook and the comparison it made between the brain and the car engine, which with the right mental practice (the right “cog”), put into action at the right time (changing mental states, or “gears”), your machine (the brain) can function with more ease, efficiency, and contentment. It is very practical and useful book about cognitive behavioral therapy. “Those who are easily shocked should be shocked more often.” - Mae West; is one of the best things I’ve learned from this audiobook.
