Then the worst thing happens. He falls in love with her.

With more than one person trying to kill him and a family to rescue, Hughe needs the help of all his Assassins Guild friends to stay alive and keep his wife from learning the truth. Because he knows, and dreads, what will happen when she discovers what he did.

Great book

I enjoyed this book and how Hughes fell for Cat & her simplistic self. I got frustrated with her evil brother-in-law and his friend and how they just kept undermining the situation. It was good to see Hughes put aside his role as a dandy and come into the fullness of himself, The men who could be treacherous fighting evil and compassionate enough to care for those victims in need. I enjoyed this is serious!
