About this listen
A silver brumby is special, but he will be hunted by man and horse alike, and must be stronger than both...
Thowra's speed and courage have always saved him from the men who want to capture him - until now, when the men come on skis quickly and silently over the mountains. This time Thowra must protect his daughter from the hunters who prize the silver brumbies above any other horse.

"Caroline Lee's sensitive performance is an excellent match for the lyrical text. Her expressive voice is intimate and enchanting, quivering with fear, laughing with joy, sometimes trotting, sometimes slowing down to luxuriate in the beauty of the landscape. This is an exquisite listening experience." ( AudioFile Magazine)
All in all. This book is a fantastic Willy Willy Of excitement and a worthy sequel to ‘The Silver Brumby’. I have all of Elyne Mitchell’s books and in Audibal to. I recommend this book to you if you like excitement, horses and great story’s and big words.

The narration even when slowed down doesn’t cut it for an enjoyable listen.
The story makes it tolerable and worth a listen.
It’s as though the narrator never read the story before reading it. My first disappointment with audible on a favoured series of books.
Great story but not the best narration
