This book is so inspiring in looking for signs that surrounds us and connect us to what we can’t see. There are so many paths to doing this.

The mystical around us.

Loved the book, well researched and fascinating, however the readers voice gave me a headache and the urge to switch it off. Although beautiful and well spoken it was like listening to Queen Elizabeth and there's only so much i can take of that voice. A suggestion would be to have a few readers, mix it up, keep it interesting, rather than hours of monotone and tedious sameness, unvaried tone or pitch. Would like to listen again with a different reader.

Well researched, interesting book.

This book was interesting but it just got more delusional as it went on. The parts on angel cards and fibonacci numbers were just grasping at straws. Then we got to mediums it really went off the rails, in the first chapter they were rubbish, by chapter 3 she was using them to commune with the dead. I think it’s a bit narcissistic to think the dead are watching us like Netflix and spending the afterlife cheering us up. I returned the book after chapter 3.

She is a little self obsessed and a lot delusional.

More a general guide to mental health hygiene than anything else. All very general and basic.

Disappointing

I had high hopes for this book because it’s presented as “the new science of how to trust your instincts.” Unfortunately, it doesn’t deliver on that promise. Instead of providing research, detailed case studies, nearly every point is framed as “it might be” or “the author believes.”
That leaves the reader with little more than the option to either accept or reject her personal viewpoint.
I expected more rigor from someone with a medical and academic background. Instead, this book felt more like a mix of anecdotes and spiritual musings than a genuine exploration of neuroscience or psychology.
For me, that discredits the credibility I thought Dr. Swart would bring.
If you’re looking for hard science, this isn’t it.
If you’re open to personal reflections with a spiritual leaning, you may still find something here — but it wasn’t what I was looking for.

What if this was a sign?
