I know absolutely nothing about baseball and yet by then end I felt as though I'd sat in half a dozen games without getting bored. All because Ace is all about his stats and his game...and Payton ! Oh and Cosmo!

I really enjoyed this book, particularly the unusual paths both our main characters stood on. I loved that Ace had a lot to learn...and did. And I loved that Payton had a lot to unlearn...and did.

As usual for Lulu's books, an entire host of characters make their reappearance which is lovely.
