I really enjoyed the story but what let it down was the female who narrated part of it. For those of us thatve listened to the Callanach series listening to the dreadful accents in this story was beyond awful. Robin Laing on the other hand narrated his part like the star he is and infact was the lifesaver for me in continuing to listen to the end.

Please don’t get me wrong, the storyline was good but I would’ve preferred Robin Laing to have narrated it all. I’m not quite sure how to word this correctly but with the female narrator I didn’t feel like I was listening to a serious serial killer story but more like a soothing novel life or romance or similar.

Sorry Helen Fields but can Robin Laing narrate all your books please

Liked the story but thank goodness it’s over

I enjoyed being drawn along at a good pace by the twists and turns of the story and interesting characters.
I did find the performance of the American accent used for Connie a bit fake when her character was introduced however it improved a lot over the course of the story to be quite enjoyable.

Well paced storyline.

What is it about serial killers. Really there are not as many serial killers as books. I’m happy with a murder here and there but serial killers really give me the irrits
