This is a summer romance, featuring Toby and Cole and is a standalone book. If you haven’t listened to a book narrated by Dan Calley, you are in for a treat, he has such a great Cornish accent.

Toby is a farm hand who is inexperienced with men and Cole is a single dad who just moved to the farm, he is the new Pilates instructor. Their attraction was instant. This is a slow burn with low angst. It’s sweet how their relationship turns from friends to more, and it was good to see once they communicated properly how feelings exploded.

I can across Garrett via the vino and veritas series, loved that series and his book in it. Dan Calley also narrated that book. I love the look of Garrett’s Rebel Kings series, might have to jump in.

Ugh, DNF@30% - totally surprised, I normally love Garrett Leigh. I don’t think this works as a standalone, I had trouble sorting the characters and once I did, I just didn’t care, they didn’t feel real. I also love Dan Valley’s audio narrations, but his strange hybrid UK accent for Toby was really distracting - it came and went, and sometimes sounded American.
