Learn how to get back into fitness

Full body strength training is essential especially for men over 50 because it is highly effective for building and maintaining lean muscle that deteriorates as you age. This book not only teaches you the most effective movements and exercise skills but it also teaches you to design your meal and learn to become an expert on nutrition. You will discover how different equipment can build your body. After reading this informative book I have no more excuses for not becoming physically fit. We only have one body we should learn how to appreciate it.

The Motivation I Needed

Though I've been physically active most of my life, I've been too sedentary recently. Thankfully this book has got me off the couch. In it, the author expertly shares valuable knowledge about the "why" and the "how" men over 50 must stay active. After just three weeks, I'm already feeling more energetic, have better balance, and am regaining strength.

If you care about your overall health and want to gain the most benefit from your physical activity, I highly recommend you get this book.

Very Informative

This book is very well researched and presented.
Keeping it simple and to the point, Bryant Belvill reveals all the elements, or as the author calls them - the 7 keys, of a successful plan for achieving and maintaining physical fitness, once middle-age related hormonal and other biochemical markers start affecting men'shealth.
The book covers topics like the benefits of strength training, mindset, foundational work, and steps for upping your game, as well as equipment, strategy for success, and even diet,
Informative and motivating, I found this book just the thing for me at this stage of my life.
The narrator did a great job. Very easy to listen to.

Fantastic

This was very good audio. As a fitness instructor myself, I found all the information very well explained and i loved the parts that stressed FORM. It has so much valuable information and I just couldn't stop listening to it.

Informative Resource to Strength Training

I came across this audiobook “The Seven Keys to Strength Training for Men over 50: Learn Everything You Need to Lose Fat and Gain Muscle, Even as a Complete Beginner“, which is great because I wanted to have a resource to help me when I return to my weight loss goals. With this audiobook I am able to have a title I can listen to with regards to strength training. The topic on nutrition is one that caught my interest in particular.

Feel 21 again (and lift like it)

Even though I am only in my 30s, I feel extremely withered away compared to the young man I was even only a decade ago. Due to a tight psoas (stress) and other muscular problems, I was just so fatigued and couldn’t lift a fraction of what I could before. Not anymore! This excellent title has layed out the fitness and nutrition secrets perfectly that make me feel like I’m 21 again. Get this if you’re serious about your health and body.

Bursting with Energy and good advice!

My son recently started going to the gym and is very enthusiastic and wanted me to go with him as I used to train back in the day and had been giving him some pointers. He then asked me to go with him, which was a bit of a shock and I immediately thought about my aching knees and back and came up with a few excuses why I'm too old now. Later I thought that this was a missed opportunity both to get myself back in shape and bond with my son when I came across this book.

This book has well structured, highly motivating, takes away all your excuses and sets you on course to get the body you want. I might not be at my peak, but one thing I have that my son doesn't is experience, so I know to isolate muscles, not swing etc so even at just shy of 50, armed with this book and prior knowledge I feel I'm going to give him a run for his money and get fit in the attempt!

Excellent!

I bought this audiobook for my dad as a gift, and he loved it. It covers so much great info about strength training, and I love that it is specific for men over 50. I also love that it has a PDF file attached to the audiobook. Great audiobook. Recommended!

Informative and practical

Awesome!!

Trying to keep up with my sons is becoming more and more challenging. Not having the energy or strength I used to have has been frustrating to say the least. I was looking for programs to help me get back in shape that didn’t require me to spend hours and hours in the gym. This audiobook is just what I was looking for. It provides a true road map to get in better shape and feel the best you can while aging gracefully. I highly recommend this book!!

Loved it!

I was checking out this book so that I can recommend it to someone I know who has been struggling with diabetes and trying to lose weight, unsuccessfully. I enjoyed listening to it, and loved the fact that there is even a pdf that shows in images some of the described exercises. I hope he will find it helpful.

Brilliant!

If you're over 50 years of age and want to get fit then I would advise this being your place to start. A brilliant book as well as audiobook (I have both) which take you through exactly what you need to know when starting out on the journey of becoming more physically active.

Functional

Bought this for my dad as he's been looking for strength training exercises he can perform while at home during COVID. This audiobook covers the 7 primary strength training keys, which while I am not yet personally familiar with, my dad already swears by.

A scientific breakdown for building muscle.

Usually with fitness books for the older crowd they either end up being completely patronizing or lose sight of the differences between a normal fitness book and one for an aged reader.

However, THIS BOOK IS AN EXCEPTION! I was able to read it knowing that the writer took the time to cater this book to me without making me sound like an old weak man. It's a simple, easy to digest guide that will provide you with everything you need to succeed in getting back in shape. Highly recommend!

Helpful even for younger man!

I am not close to being 50, but I feel like my body is over 50! My friend recommended this book, and I have no regrets. It provides really useful advice and explains well how to perform exercises, and healthy eating. I would recommend it to people who are sedentary but are looking to become fit.

Loving this book!

While the tile says for Men over 50, I believe it applies to Men 30 +, many sedentary jobs have made these late generations have more of an older body at a younger age.
The way you explain how certain muscles give and take, makes people understand why is never late to start a good lifestyle and take care of our bodies.
I really appreciate the opportunity to listen to the audio not once but several times.

Great Results

I bought this audiobook for my husband who is 55 year old. He used to work out at the gym but due to certain aches and pains, he stopped going. This book has recharged his appetite to work out again. I'm amazed at how eager he is to get back into shape. He has more energy and even eats healthier foods which I thought I would never see. I really like the way the book offers different options for older men who can't work out like they used to but still want to look good. Thank you for getting my husband off the couch!

Great book for fitness.

This is a comprehensive book for men over 50 wishing to get fit. It is actually good for any men wanting to get fit. It doesn't come across as preachy and is an easy read helping one answer any and every question regarding fitness, diet and planning a regime for oneself which will work.. Well worth listening to.

A knowledgeable author!

I saw this book on Amazon and simply loved it! Now on ACX!! cool ! . This shows the author is really dedicated to helping the 50+ . The method, techniques and steps showed are quite easy to implement and do not require any fancy equipment. Not only exercise but also nutrition, and discipline; they are all part the body shaping and self-improvement. I love it!
