Gosh Dang!
I devoured this book. It had fantasy, hot gorgeous vampire, a kick ass human protagonist, and secrets. So many delectable secrets. So many undesirable ones, too. The plot twists, my gosh & the last one! no one in their wildest dreams could imagine. Yeaaah....so while you decipher my comment, I'mma be right over there buying & reading book 2.😁

I’m hooked
Really good! Loved this was easy to listen to and the story had me interested really quickly, my only complaint is that it’s quite short!

loved the romance, it felt real, a lot of the fantasy romance just feels too quick and unrealistic, loved the action and storyline!

Couldn’t put down
I preordered this without having a sample to listen to which made me nervous. In the past I’ve refused to audio some based on the lifeless narrations. I was beyond happy with the performance, actual depth not monotone but clear to understand.
The story: well I’m left wanting the second audio NOW, but will have to wait for it’s release.
Loved everything about this story. Will now look at other books by this author as I enjoyed it that much.

loved it
I really enjoyed this story. It was dark, full of fighting, action and had the right amount of romance. It was very well written and had me really listening to every word, describing everything so well. I can't wait to continue this story.
The reader did a really great job, too.

Constant awe to the end
Loved this book, the story, the narration was absolutely perfect, the world building and timing was right on the mark, it kept me on the edge wanting more until the end. So glad there is another book out to immerse myself into this adventure straight away created by Carissa. Just obsessed now and need to know more…
