The Selfish Giant returns home, after being away for seven years, to find children playing in his beautiful garden. It is a garden where the sun always shines and the birds sing. The Giant objects to the children being there and builds a wall to keep them out. Until a special little boy comes into the Giant's wintry world.
The Selfish Giant is one of Oscar Wilde's best known and heartwarming stories and was published as part of Wilde's collection The Happy Prince and Other Stories in May 1888.
The audiobook is narrated by Irish composer Micheal Gallen.
