One pregnancy. Two possible fathers. And a truth that could destroy everything.

Olivia Hart's life is already unraveling—but when she discovers she's pregnant, the stakes become even more dangerous. The father could be her husband, Daniel… or Ethan Sterling, the powerful billionaire whose obsession with her is only growing stronger.

As complications with her pregnancy escalate, Olivia is forced into Ethan's world, moving into his mansion under the guise of protection. But safety comes at a cost—and Ethan's control over her life tightens with every passing day.

Daniel refuses to let her go, fighting to save their marriage while battling his own demons. But against Ethan's influence, love may not be enough.

Caught between two men, two futures, and a web of secrets that's closing in fast, Olivia must face the truth about what she wants—and what she's willing to sacrifice to survive.

Because this time, the consequences aren't just hers.

A dark, emotionally intense psychological suspense filled with obsession, betrayal, and impossible choices.

The Second Deception is Book 2 in the Shadows of Deception trilogy and continues Olivia's story. For the best reading experience, start with Book 1, The First Lie.

The narrator was so melodramatic it was just annoying. Thin and tired storyline and a lead female character that was so pathetic it was off putting

Melodramatic narration

Can’t fully rate as I didn’t finish it - storyline I couldn’t get into and narrator read at full tension the whole time.
Edit struggled through and didn’t find anything I liked from the repetitive lines / the story line or the narrator unfortunately
Will not be purchasing the sequel book

Not my cup of tea edited

Not worth the listen! Narration was so over acted it could have been an episode of 'Days of our lives'. Storyline too unbelievable. Main female character portrayed as stupidly gullible, naive and helpless, it set back the women's rights movement and feminity by about 200 years. If that's what I was looking for, I'd read the Bronte sisters.

Ridiculous
