Publisher's Summary

She expected to die saving her world....

Magna's existence was once filled with laughter, love, and joy. Her life changes in a single night when a mysterious object falls from the sky into the ocean, and she wakes to find herself held captive in her own body.

As the centuries pass, she becomes known as the Sea Witch - a creature who is feared and reviled. Her efforts to save the Seven Kingdoms and destroy the alien creature living inside her should have ended both their lives - instead, Magna wakes to find herself in a strange, new realm.

Gabe Lightfoot and his best friend, Kane Field, have stood side by side through thick and thin. Brothers by circumstance, they have seen the darker side of life and lived to remember it. When Gabe rescues a wounded woman in the waters off the coast of Oregon, they have no idea what's in store for them.

It doesn't take long for Magna to learn that she is no safer in this new world than she was in her own. Fearful of endangering the two men who have taken her under their wing, Magna is torn between trying to return to her world or staying in this one. The choice may be decided for her when strangers come to town searching for clues regarding a series of strange disappearances. Can Gabe and Kane protect her from those who would lock her up to study her, or will the curse of the Sea Witch destroy them as well?

Contains mature themes.

Lovely to listen to this series.

Lovely to listen to this series. Very enjoyable to be able to listen to this wonderful tale whilst doing other things. Narrator did well with all the different characters voices. Cannot say everyone sounded like I imagined but hey, I can overlook that detail. Quite emotional when Magna went home to try to right the wrongs done. Really hope she gets the recognition like her father believes she is due for saving their world. BOOK EVIEW From baddie to heroine. Another fantastic and interesting read from Ms Smith. This review is for the extended version which I loved. I was one of the lucky few who was able to read the original short version of this story and the ones that followed. We are getting Ms Smiths trademark writing ability and entertaining characters in this wonderful story. This is book four in the wonderful and mythical Seven Kingdoms series. Ms Smith has once again proven how clever she is by taking a short fun read for her fans, that just scratched the surface of a story and turning it into this fantastic read. This story goes so much deeper than the short version and gives us so much more about everything and everyone. I feel like I am getting to know these people and their emotions. The depth of Magna’s torment and how strong she was in controlling the evil entity is amazing. The fact she goes back to the Seven Kingdoms, at risk of her life, to right some of the wrongs done under duress, shows how truly good hearted she is. I adored both Kane and Gabe and how they protected Magna, even supporting her in her wish to return to clear her conscience. The whole background continues unrolling and meshing in with what we know and in how this will proceed.
