It is a great series of lecture exploring the different layers of love & psychology’s attempts to explain or interpret why we do the things we do in the name of love & sex. I enjoyed the lecturer because she was very inclusive even if most of the studies & their results reflected a heterosexual audience she included much diversity in the style of information or the angles she explored the topic. Overall I feel more hopeful for humans as a result even if we don’t have a single concrete theory to explain why or even how we love💖

Great exploration of psych theories about Love

One of the more balanced speedy woke overview on lust, bdsm, and relationships.

Definitely NOT homophobic as other reviews note but fail to observe the great chapter include fetishes and paraphilias - which include pe'does. Hence the warning and the reason for it being there not in the beginning is probably because the Great Courses are lectures and so it's not so much a book or a whole as it is a series of lectures. Additionally plenty of bi- and poly- and intersex- content suggesting Dr WG has no issues covering the full s3xual umbrella.
