easy to follow
I like that the book gives concrete steps to build confidence. The book also offers examples and stresses that practice and planning are very important.

Un-listenable
Read in a monotone with lots of mistakes. The content seemed compiled from other sources, not original.

Helpful Content, Awful Narration. Had to return.
I’m not sure if I’m missing something, but I’m in awe of the poorly read narration of this audiobook. I’m midway through and it’s incredibly distracting from the content. The phrasing and inflections are terrible and many of the words are mispronounced. There are hesitations and blunders. It sounds as if a poor reader was called on in class while unprepared. I’m really shocked that this is presented on audible this way. It’s almost as if was one take only and no edits. My Star rating reflects both the narration and content since this is an audiobook. It likely would have been a 4 or 5 if it were read better and I was able to get through to the end. I wanted to just get a hard copy and read it myself, as I believe I would really enjoy this book. But the narration is sloppy. I do not seem to be able to pin down a hard copy of this book.

Where’s the science?
There’s nothing scientific about this book, just a bunch of seemingly random advice. The advice sounds good, but there’s nothing backing it up or explaining WHY the behaviors increase confidence. I rate this book low because it didn’t seem worth the time.

Needs better editing.
The book was fine, a bit redundant. The performance was lacking, needs more editing. The performer seems to have read the book in its entirety, with no break.

not a human narrator
This was pure torture. It was like a computer reading flash cards for 12 hrs.

I want my money back
I can't digitally wipe my ass wipe pages of the book. That's the only use a paper copy is. Amazon edited my review. It originally said, "get the duck out of your mouth while narrating" but it didn't say duck. This is the worst reading. Every 3 chapters the say stuff is regurgitated. I would get more from reading the bottom of my shoe.

Very useful book
It had some good insights as to how we look at things. This program is something I need to listen to and internalize. A really useful book.

Good book with lots of useful tips
Good audiobook. Contains an number of science backed tips to help you on the path to confidence. Main flaw is the narrator. His voice is flat and he comes across as insincere. It is not terrible and still can’t be listened to but it does detract from the otherwise useful advice.

Must-Read and very outstanding!!
It's an easy read, you'll enjoy it. Not hard to understand and very helpful. At very least the book provides a good basis to discuss the appropriate response to different boundary issues.I would recommend this book to anyone who is tired of being passive and has been taken advantage of all their life!
