Publisher's Summary
The third book in the best-selling series The Brethren by USA Today best-selling author Christi Caldwell!
Martha Donaldson went from being a nobleman's wife, and respected young mother, to the scandal of her village. After learning the dark lie perpetuated against her by her "husband", she knows better than to ever trust a man. Her children are her life, and she'll protect them at all costs. When a stranger arrives seeking the post of stable master, everything says to turn him out. So why does she let him stay?
Lord Sheldon Graham Whitworth has lived with the constant reminders of his many failings. The third son of a duke, he’s long been underestimated. That, however, proves a valuable asset as he serves the Brethren, an illustrious division in the Home Office. When Graham’s first mission sees him assigned the role of guard to a young widow and her son, he wants nothing more than to finish quickly and then move on to another, more meaningful assignment.
Except, as the secrets between them begin to unravel, Martha’s trust is shattered, and Graham is left with the most vital mission he’ll ever face - winning Martha’s heart.
This full-length book is the third in The Brethren series but can be heard as a stand-alone.

A Ligh.t, Fun Read (Audible Format)
Christi Caldwell always delivers books that we want to cherish to read again and again. The Rogue Who Rescued Her is no exception. The book is spell binding, yet in places so funny you will want to join in their hilarity. At other places, you will want to reach out and warn the heroine to trust and believe the hero, at least this time. If you are "reading by listening" to the audible, the narrator, Tim Campbell , in his wonderful smooth baritone voice creates an aura that makes us want the story to never end. Christi and Tim make an unbeatable team that always delivers a book you want to become an old and trusted friend that always brings you joy!

Pretty good but not her best
I like Christi Caldwell books and have read most of them. This was well written and easy to follow but was such a sad story to begin it was not much fun to listen to. Of course there is a happy ending- why else would I want to read books like this otherwise - but there were several unanswered questions for me. Plus I like an epilogue so we can see how happy the ending actually is. It’s worth a read on a lazy day or drive.

Loved it
Loved every minute of it. Like I did all the others before it. The series are all intertwined with characters mentioned from nearly every series. I listen to them according to the season and year not according to the series. What I can't understand is why there are different series with the same families involved. You don't know which one to read next because of the different series. Also I don't like the way the stories finish so abruptly especially this one, I wish there could have been more at the end of it. Tim Campbell was great as usual. I love his narrating and his voices for both male and female. I'll definitely be listening to all the other books. There are still quite a few In my library that I bought already, waiting to be listened to. Now on to the next one.
