Ten years ago, six teenagers hiked into the Blue Mountains wilderness - and only five came out alive.

The survivors have barely seen each other since the tragic bushwalk. Yet when an invitation arrives to attend a 10-year memorial of their friend's death, Hugh, Charlotte, Alex, Laura and Jack find themselves travelling back into the rugged landscape where it all began.

The weekend at an isolated homestead in the bush - no phone signal, no distractions - should be a chance to reflect and reconnect.

But each of the friends has been carrying secrets from the fateful hike. And someone will stop at nothing to get the truth.

The Dry meets The Hunting Party in this gripping thriller set in the isolated Australian bush, where five friends will wish they never returned . . .

Critic Reviews

A fine first novel full of atmosphere and shocks, that demonstrates how we experience the same emotions differently
A shattering debut - just when you think you've sussed it, you haven't . . . the pace spirals and the twists multiply (S. R. White, author of international bestseller HERMIT)
One of the best Aussie thriller debuts since Chris Hammer's Scrublands . . . it grips you by the throat
I flew through The Reunion. This sinister and original take on a locked-room mystery makes exceptional use of its remote bush setting and dual timelines. I could hear the cicadas and see every gum leaf. An unputdownable debut that kept me guessing until the final page (Emma Styles, author of NO COUNTRY FOR GIRLS)
Tense and twisty
A gripping, twisty read, lots of dark secrets and grudges coming to the surface, in a location as troubled and unreliable as the intriguing cast of characters. I raced through it in one sitting! (Liza North, author of THE WEEKEND GUESTS)
A suspensful slice of bush gothic, The Reunion is a real page-turner that keeps you engrossed from the beginning to the final surprising twist

The story itself was quite good. The characters were interesting, if a little stock standard, and the tension of the story rose well. But the narration!! Just awful. Words mispronounced, and each character was delivered in the same have-amused voice. It was such a slog to listen to.

Good story but awful narration
