Why is every film or tv programme a sequel or a remake? Why are people so f***ing hung up about swearing? Why do the asterisks in that sentence make it okay? Why do so many people want to stop other people doing things, and how can they be stopped from stopping them? These and many other questions trouble David Mitchell. Join him on a tour of the absurdities of modern life - from Ryanair to Richard III, Downton Abbey to phone etiquette, UKIP to hot dogs made of cats.

Story
For the first time ever, the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society has produced an audio recording of all of Lovecraft's stories. These are not dramatizations like our Dark Adventure Radio Theatre - rather, this is an audiobook of the original stories, in all-new, never-before-heard recordings made by the HPLHS' own Andrew Leman and Sean Branney exclusively for this collection. This collection spans his entire career from his earliest surviving works of childhood to stories completed shortly before his death. All tales include original music by HPLHS composer Troy Sterling Nies.

Publisher's Summary
Following the smash-hit sci-fi comedy The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe is the second part in Douglas Adams' multi media phenomenon and cult classic series, read by Martin Freeman.
If you've done six impossible things this morning, why not round it off with breakfast at Milliways, the Restaurant at the end of the Universe?
Which is exactly what the crew of the Heart of Gold plan to do. There's just the small matter of escaping the Vogans, avoiding being taken to the most totally evil world in the Galaxy and teaching a spaceship how to make a proper cup of tea.
And did anyone actually make a reservation?
Follow Arthur Dent's galactic (mis)adventures in the rest of the trilogy with five parts: Life, the Universe and Everything, So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish, and Mostly Harmless.

Martin Freeman convert
I wasn't sure about Martin Freeman narrating, as I don't really like his acting (and because I listened to Stephen Fry's delicious narration of The Hitchhiker's Guide) but he's actually really really good! I enjoyed it immensely! Looking for other books he's narrated now :-)
In terms of story - this is a classic. If you liked the Hitchhiker's Guide then you know what to expect.

Great, if it is your cup of tea
The intricate and obscure story continues. The second book may be less grabbing than the first but if this is your thing you will find this an engaging listen. The voice actor maintains the pace of the story well thought.
