A complex plot, involving many issues in the history of Norway.I especially appreciated the opportunity to find out more about the history and complexities of Norway in WWII. I have never really known about it, although I've visited museums in various places in Norway.
Great work by both the author and the narrator.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

The scenes set in WWII were so believable, they took me away. But every scene was so well written, I did not have to work to imagine I was there, it just happened. I couldn't wait to get home so I could keep listening.

Any additional comments?

I am in love with Inspector Harry Hole (pronounced "Hooleh" in Danish).

The series is improving and The Redbreast is a very cleverly woven story indeed. It will keep you enthralled right to the surprising end. Five stars from me all round and onto the next book.
