In an isolated house by Dugort pier a body is found. DS Lucy Golden is shocked to discover that the victim, Sandra Byrne, is a sister of one of her old school friends. For the record, I'd like to say that Aoife McMahon is an incredible narrator - up there with Adam Sims in my opinion!!
The Reckoning is a brilliant story spanning different periods of time, and with multiple plot threads. Almost everyone or anyone could have done it, and how the power of assumptions was handled was very interesting and thought provoking. I loved this book - would highly recommend.
