Excellent Work!

This should be required reading in all schools in the US. Being a white middle class male born in 1956 from a small town in the North I never knew the degree of oppression suffered. Then, even now. This history has been supressed, ignored and covered up long enough.

Good but Repetitive

I liked how allof the historical information shed light on the life of Rosa Parks. It touched on some key issues that are often ignored. I like how it includes the most recently discovered facts that were simply unavailable in earlier works. Interesting story.

However, the book is extremely repetitive which can be quite annoying. It’s hard to stick with the book with all the repetition. It could easily made more succinct. So much repetition can cause one to lose interest because it obscures some of the really intriguing insights the book has to offer.

Still, would recommend!

The Truth of Rosa

This book gives a complete picture of Mrs. Parks. The writer allows you to view Mrs. Parks and her complexities
The narrator reading keeps your focus engulfing you in thoughts and reflections about what you're hearing

So much more to Ms Rosa Parks than we were taught in school.

I grew up with the image of a soft spoken woman who refused to give up her seat because she was tired. But it was more than a physical tired. Her strong stance against segregation and racism allowed her to rest long enough to motivate a movement that still exist today.
An informative well researched book that should be used in every classroom .
