Where to start. Wow. What a twist. I really didn’t expect that ending. Though for sure it was another person. (Don’t want to spoil it for anyone) but geez was I relieved it wasn’t them for the characters sake. I could see a real softening of said character and I look forward to hearing more about him as he grows and learns.
Such a great read Simon well done. I am totally hooked and cannot wait to start the next one. Already in my library and waiting. I am going to purchase the hard copies of your entire repertoire because you are just an amazing author. Thankyou so much for giving me an escape into a wonderful read. Having read all the DI hunter series, it is so good to see her from the beginning with little Ella and Dan and what a mess life can be but don’t we all just get through it with the help of friends and a good job. Well done again. Definitely 5 stars.
