Great series and this novel didn't disappoint. The main character is a bit too reflective and it becomes repeataive and the story is a bit "I said" "she said" in a very mechanical automatic narrative but it was good overall

Great detail, characters stayed true to themselves. Very entertaining and I really enjoyed listening. Took me a while to listen to the narrator as I had read the first two books as hardcopy and had the names and voices in my imagination already.

I was unimpressed by the 2nd book, to the point that i didn't think i should bother listening to this one, but glad I did as I found this story so much more engaging and satisfying. great narrator, great happily ever after.

Holly Black is the master of twists! Full of delightful and awful unexpected events which makes this a rollercoaster of a series. Highly recommended and pretty clean compared to others.

Best fae series out so far. It was dark and gritty and the main character was not weak and had real substance. The romance was not soppy but real well written.

We need the whole series told from Carden’s point of view. And we need more books for this series from both Cardens and Jude’s.

I thought these three books were exciting and well written and I went through them fast. I found the narrator a little off putting sometimes because she would often use a cartoonish baby voice, particularly when the sisters were talking to each other. But most of the time she was ok.

finished QoN and I’m so freaking glad I don’t have to squint my eyes while scrolling my newsfeed in case I see a spoiler 😂
I have never stretched out a book this long in my life before like this!!!!
Firstly, I listen to the book on audible, and does anyone else agree that the narrator is freaking amazing!!!!! I tried to read the actual book halfway through and missed hearing the way she read it so had to switch back to audible.
Secondly, I felt so complete by the end. Yes, there are a few loose ends I would love to know more about, but I actually felt that the ending left me feeling satisfied. This whole darn book felt satisfying from start to finish.
Last, but not least, I cannot say enough how incredibly talented Holly Black is, the way she writes, the way she makes you feel like you are a part of her world she has created and the character development throughout the series is astronomical. I’m in love with this series and have literally forced everyone in my life to read these books.
