Although any story involving Fae (Fairies, Elves, Sidhe etc) contains basic ideas from our shared cultural data base I really like the way the author uses these ideas and builds an unexpected world. Well read.

I love the overall story but I find myself fast forwarding too many times after one too many of the love scenes and the many mention of spicy thoughts of the other half between Hetta and Wyn. I understand they are in love and I have nothing against it but it does make me feel like too many Mills and Boons vibes in this. I want to read more about this magic fae things going on but very much reluctant to purchase the 3rd book because of the above mentioned.

This is quite a good whimsical series and the 1st 3 books had me enjoying them and the characters. unfortunately they changed the narrator on the 4th & 5th book which made it painful to listen to. This narrator was dreadful with male voices, they all sounded like robots and it was hard to work to listen to. The female characters were at most, average.
