About this listen

His courage covered his brother's fear. His sacrifices atoned for the peoples sin. His voice carried the words of God. Moses parted the red sea. But in his shadow stood a man who symbolizes forever our great High Priest: Aaron.

The author does a great job of setting the scene and providing additional background information to justify and perhaps explain the choices of the character. The listener is left to feel they know the character so well they can almost understand and predict the characters decisions. Although fictional to a fashion it's obvious the writer has explored the culture and history of the era.
The objective of the book is not to teach doctrine but nonetheless its insightful and thought provoking nature leaves the reader with glimpses containing some great lessons and truths pertaining to the Old Testament.

The narrator does well conveying many different voices and is constant in the tone and pitch presented. Perhaps not as skilled as some of the great narrators but takes little away from the book. The narration was easy to listen too and held my attention but may be subject to individual taste.

Thoroughly enjoyed. A worthwhile book.

Bible based, enjoyable and thought provoking.

While this is a very moving story, I really struggled with Aaron"s voice. I know he's an old man, but he sounded whiny and wheezy.

Touching story
