Jess Carter only wants to finish out her senior year of high school. No friends, no boyfriends, and definitely not an insanely hot, overprotective guy who might possibly be her mate. No thanks. She only came to the tiny town of Banks, Idaho, to make sure her dad doesn't do anything too crazy. Like buy the local motel where you pay by the hour.

Dangerous stalkers and a group of students known as the Pack are the opposite of what she plans on, but that doesn't change the fact that she has zero intentions of getting involved. At all. Period. This book is hard to get into, the beginning is very slow, felt like a chore to understand the overly detailed beginning and I ended up putting it down midway through to read something else. I picked it back up attempting to finish and became interested towards the end. Interesting enough to follow up with the second book.

The reader also sounds like Velma from Scooby Doo, so was hard to picture the main character as strong and charming. (Sorry!)

This book is also a spitting replica of “One bit, twice shy” and if you like the story, but feel the same about the performance I’d encourage you to read that instead.

Easy listening, high school werewolf, student/teacher drama. I wish Dom’s character was developed a little more as he doesn’t give much away. Entertaining and easy to listen to quickly. Will be listening to the other books in the series.

Was recommended for my first werewolf read. It was okay, good for a teenager read but not my style personality. The story itself was good though and well written.

I feel like it was rushed, it has a lot of potential, I just didn’t vibe it. Easy read and not a bad book just lacked a bit of depth I’d love to see for these characters.

I went into this book bored and it was with the subscription and I came out of it really surprised I loved it so much I'm jumping into the next book! It's not normally my style but it's so interesting! I'm listening to book 2 as I write this because I'm so excited for it.
