Why did the author conclude this tale with varying prologues? The narrator was very enjoyable and plied her training well. Doubt I would listen to another of this author if this is her practice.

Began well but ended oddly

I listened to this series, and I loved the main books, I found the prequel at the end not needed. As you already know the outcomes from the main books.
Dash brought such a fun outlook to life and I loved the chapters with him.
As I listened not read I’m likely going to spell names wrong, I really enjoyed Bleaks storyline. It was nice to see the softer side of swinton and the secrets that lay there (no spoliers). There were definitely storyline’s I didn’t see coming.

I loved the series but the narrator gave characters quite annoying voices and also pronounced the main character’s name differently throughout the story which was really frustrating 🥲
