Publisher's Summary

The gripping new psychological thriller from top 10 best-selling author and award-winning journalist, Caroline Overington

Emma Cardwell is the top-rating host of a morning TV show, Cuppa, beloved by audiences and only occasionally stalked by crazy fans. She seems to have it all: fame, money, a gorgeous family, but then her tiny daughter disappears from day care, and Emma's entire life is turned on its head.

Is this a kidnapping, a product of her high profile, or is somebody out for revenge?

As the hours tick by and the pressure mounts, everything comes under scrutiny, including her own marriage, and Emma is forced to confront an aching question: Can we trust the ones we love?

Praise for Caroline Overington:

"Overington keeps you guessing until the last." (Daily Telegraph)

"Caroline Overington has an ability to home in on the darker, unsettling sides of life, seizing upon topics you might see headlining the news and spinning them into gripping page-turners." (Australian Women's Weekly)

Okaaay

Such a basic story stretched out over many hours. Didn't love it but I persisted.

it was so predictable from start to finish...

Just so predictable and struggled to keep listening. The narrator was terrible, so Aussie Bogan.

Great story

The voice-over was so irritating. It would have been better with multiple voices not one trying to do them all. Especially the male parts.

Bit of a let down.

I was expecting better from this book. Yeah I didn’t predict the end but still… just finished it and really not sure how I feel. Still understand why they went that way but rather corny and long winded. Wish I didn’t pay for it.

Not the best CO

This story dragged out a bit and I wish it was meatier than other CO books but the people, the overall story was pretty flat.

Unexpected Twists

I enjoy Caroline Overington as an author. This book had twists that I didn’t see coming! Thoroughly enjoyed this one.
