About this listen

The door has been opened. It's already too late. The hunt is on for the thing that escaped from Chaythe Asylum. A life hangs in the balance. Dark plots set in motion more than thirty years ago wind to a close in this final, terrifying volume. Will Stephen Barlow intervene in time to spare the world the horrors of the Occupant?

I enjoyed the third installation of this trilogy, and although it was rather predictable, it was still a good listen.

Predictable but still good

I don't often listen to fiction , much preferring a biography or good history book. After delving into the horror section (and returning a few after not enjoying them) I stumbles across the first book in the series. Afterwards I found myself almost straight after with the following two books in my queue.

The story is fantastic , had me on the edge of my seat at times , and gave me Goosebumps. the ending and explanation that built in the first two books really pays off. the characters are very well written and its quick to get into the story and never pulls a punch. the narration is the icing on top of a wonderful series.

I feel sad the last book is the end and saying goodbye to the characters, Would love a follow up series and further adventures (if its so possible).

Do yourself a favour and give this series a go.

WOW!
