This book has enabled me to tweak so many things which have led to successful sleep training. I love all of the different options given throughout the book to suit your family circumstance. Has taken the stress out of sleep training and enabled me to work on different things in stages. Can't recommend enough!

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

This book will obviously be downloaded by frustrated parents hoping to find a solution on how they can help their baby sleep at night. The book drags on and and provides background stories about other mums and their testimonials, then more fluff.. blah blah.. I wish it would have just gotten to the point. I lost interest after awhile. There are a few good points but nothing ground breaking.

Reading Elizabeth Pantley's no cry sleep solution made me feel as if I finally had some tools to use. We are formula fed, despite my very best efforts we couldn't make breastfeeding work. I also do not sleep at all when baby is in my bed, as much as I love morning half asleep cuddles. Many (if not all) of the gentle sleep books on the market that I have read advocate cosleeping and breast feeding arrangements as their silver bullet to sleep issues. unfortunately neither of these work for us and some books with repeated breastfeeding mentions made me very upset. No cry sleep solution respects and gives tips for many sleep and feeding arrangements. It is very non judgmental of these different arrangements and doesn't advocate for one or the other. Another helpful part of this book is it has many gentle ways to break 'negative' sleep associations such as rocking, feeding to sleep dummies. I am keen to try them in action, so far a few of the peices of information are working wonders. I have read a number of books on gentle sleep and so far this is by far THE book to read on the subject!

I really pushed through, all the way to the end because I never give up.
Content is average, mostly common sense. Having said that, it is nice that someone put it on paper.
The tone of voice is pompous. I recommend the paper copy to be bought instead.
Only taking away a handful of options to try. That's a lot of reading for little benefit.
