About this listen

Modern-day Atlanta. Driven by his tragic past, prosecutor Chance Meridian seeks justice for a beautiful woman brutally murdered in her own home.

Except nothing comes easy in Atlanta, and certainly not justice. A lot of people in town wanted Sara Barton dead, and every single one of them is lying about something. Chance shouldn't be surprised. Murder is an ugly business. But so is love.

Masterful, fast-paced, and full of intrigue, The Murder of Sara Barton is an intense courtroom drama brimming with suspense.

This was not what I expected and a thoroughly good story. Plenty going onto keep you interested. Really good narration.

I loved this book. Great story and the twist at the end really brought it all together. The main thing I loved was the references to Chance’s faith and I really needed to hear the Epilogue to boost my own faith as I have been struggling with the death of my 42yo son due to extreme depression and drugs. He died of an accidental overdose and my faith was shaken. Will now get the second book in the series.

Loved this story. I found it hard to follow for the first chapter or two. Perhaps because it's not my usual genre. The story was gripping and powerful. I loved the honesty portrayed in the characters. I look forward to the next novel in the series.

A story that left me better.

I loved everything about this book. But I especially loved Christopher Lane as narrator for this type of book. Great characters and a nice twist. I have already bought the second in the series.
