No one is innocent in this story ...

The unmissable no.1 bestselling New York Times thriller of the year

First Rule: Make them like you.

Second Rule: Make them need you.

Third Rule: Make them pay.

They think I'm a young, idealistic law student, that I'm passionate about reforming a corrupt and brutal system.

They think I'm working hard to impress them.

They think I'm here to save an innocent man on death row.

They're wrong. I'm going to bury him.

A good story with complex charaters and twists ruined by the wooden performance of the third narrator Michael Crouch. His reading was terrible, it ruined the whole experience for me.

Enjoyable except for the third narrator Michael Crouch

It took me a few chapters to get into this I also had to Re listen at times… but as the story unfolded it the characters became interesting as in discovering some things were not what they seemed great ending and realisations. Recommend for those who love crime and drama.

I was hooked from the opening email exchange. Brilliant twists and plot turns kept the intrigue alive. I actually liked the main characters as people. Well done Dervla. Now I sit and wait for your next book…. 😀
